We take the utmost pride in providing only acid free, archival materials for our picture framing services.
MATERIALS
Matting protects your artwork, and keeps it from touching the glass when framed. Acid free matting is made from cotton, and has a pure white core inside; this can be seen where the bevel is cut. Over time, non-acid free matting will leave a damaging acid burn where it touches your artwork, resulting in a brown discolouration. Cotton mats prevent this damage from happening, keeping your artwork’s value while in pristine condition.

Regular glass . 40% UV protection, will show glare/reflection in direct light
AR glass (Anti-Reflective) . 70% UV protection, very minimal glare/reflection in direct light
Conservation glass . 99% UV protection, will show glare/reflection in direct light
Museum glass . 99% UV protection with anti-reflective properties.
