Kelsey has always been a creative spirit, but her signature impressionistic painting style emerged while studying Visual Arts and Communication Studies at the University of Windsor, where she graduated with Honours in 2011.
She went on to receive a high honours diploma in Interior Decorating from Sheridan College in 2014.
Her work explores a variety of subjects; however, she is mostly drawn to painting animals and landscapes. She uses oil paint with a combination of palette knife, brush strokes, and dripping to create depth, texture, and dynamic movement in all of her artwork. A continual focus of her work is to try and capture an understanding of a deeper longing, nostalgia, love, and the natural instincts that connect us all.
She currently resides in Windsor with her husband and two daughters, working out of her home studio. She also offers art classes and hopes to inspire others to lead a creative life.
