Patricia has been focusing on her art full time since 2018. She specializes in linocut printmaking; creating multi-colour prints using the reduction method, of which she is self taught. Her art focuses on the simple beauty in life that is often overlooked - what she likes to call the beautiful mundane.
The reduction process that she uses is, to her, the perfect medium in which to relay her message. The time, patience and mindfulness required to produce each piece gives the subject matter worthiness and reverence. Each piece is entirely made without the use of a press and requires a process which takes months to complete.
