  • Kathryn Pryce is a painter/printmaker who has recently made the Windsor area her home.
After a fun and fulfilling 18 year career teaching art in an elementary school in Calgary, Alberta,
she is now a full time artist, relishing her time in her studio.
Using oil paint and a limited palette, Kathryn’s work focuses on the reflective play of light and colour interacting with her subject, often through a medium such as water or glass. Her subjects have deep personal meaning, representing her
thoughts on a fleeting moment of beauty observed. Two modes of reflection combine in her pieces, where often time, thought and perception can result in a fluid distortion of what we know to be true.
